Where do these come from?

When I was at AGPC recently I saw in Samantha's display her trunk sitting open. In the trunk was the mirror, but also a gold colored set of a brush and I believe either a comb or handmirror. I can't find where they come from, but my Mom remembers them, too. I have a silver set from the retired Travel accessories, but the ones on display were definitely gold. Anyone know what they are?

I've been collecting since the beginning and I only remember silver.

Hmmm. The first set available came with Samantha's Travel Accessories. Now the brush/mirror combo are available with Samantha's Bridesmaid Accessories (but not as a replacement part, I checked! [img]frown.gif[/img] ). I haven't seen the gold set. Could it possibly come with Sam's trunk? I know her trunk used to include a gold framed mirror.

Hmm, maybe it was the lights or something. I didn't know you could still get them with the Bridesmaid Accessories. (Not a huge fan of that outfit). That's probably what they were.

Silver turns a weird gold color if you let it sit out long enough under hot lights. I'm always bewildered when I'm fixing our jewelry display and something that ought to be silver is a gold tone. I mean, I'd expect it to be more of a blackish speckle color! That's how our silver settings go!


So perhaps they just haven't polished the set recently? Or maybe it was specially made for AGP.
